2024年12月に施行されたEU意匠の改正規則が、2025年5月1より運用開始となります。注目点は、更新料の大幅な引き上げです。
1回目の更新 €90 → €150
2回目の更新 €120 → €250
3回目の更新 €150 → €400
4回目の更新 €180 → €700
また、更新期間及び猶予期間の計算の仕方も変わるため注意が必要です。
・更新日:2025年5月1日より前
（例）2020年4月15日出願 → 2024年11月1日から2025年4月30日（満了日を含む月の月末）までの間に更新する必要あり。猶予期間は2025年5月1日から2025年10月31日まで。
・更新日:2025年5月1日以降
（例）2020年11月23日出願 → 2025年5月24日から2025年11月23日（満了日まで）の間に更新する必要あり。猶予期間は2025年11月24日から2026年5月23日まで。
